Pikmin: Demade - Improved Demo Release Date


Sorry for the long wait. I've been having a ton of issues with the engine of the project, and it's been kind of annoying. I had to rewrite a ton of things. There were all sorts of bugs, issues, etc, and I even lost the original project ): 

I thankfully was able to save most of the music, sound effects, and more. But, I took this time to take the game in a new direction, with a new art style, and new sound design.

I will say that the new artstyle is pretty good...

 I changed all the sound effects, so they are no longer samples. I think it's a bit better to save space that way. Thus far, I haven't been able to find anything to use to translate the Prologue Theme to the Gameboy (I usually use MIDIs). So, until I can find one, or make a decent arrangement, the prologue will be missing.

I'm also planning on making the game slightly different from the original game, such as a playable prologue, the Pikmin 2 maps as challenge mode stages, a few missing enemies, and new enemy spawns.

Anyway,  expect the new demo to release April 20th or April 21st.

Ooh! I really like the new Olimar sprite, looks great. Can't wait to see how the the levels and enemies will look

For the Prologue Theme MIDI, maybe ask Scruffy on YouTube? He's a composer and has done a lot of Pikmin covers/arrangements, maybe he already put one together: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCDoKh1xoqKDfUr3YxQBs_1w

I hope that you'll enjoy the new demo! Although, it will be more bare bones than the previous ones, if I'm being honest...
